Sir David Willcocks, well-known as the director of the famed choir from King’s College, Cambridge, would have celebrated his 100th birthday this year. We celebrate his legacy by performing music sung by King’s College Choir at the famous Lessons and Carols services: carols arranged by Sir David, carols commissioned by the choir, and motets that became staples of their annual Christmas program. Join us in the splendor of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, where we’ll also include a brass quintet to enliven the audience carol sing-a-longs. Be sure to stay after the concert for a cake-and-champagne reception celebrating Orpheus’s 25th birthday. ($25 suggested donation.)
