Our Mission
Orpheus Chamber Singers, Inc., is the premier professional choir in North Texas,
committed to performances and activities that perpetuate and elevate the art of choral music.
Orpheus Chamber Singers, now celebrating its 30th anniversary season, was founded with the express purpose of providing exceptional performances of traditional and innovative chamber choral music from the past six centuries. In addition to its acclaimed annual subscription series in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, Orpheus has recently been featured at the Texas Choral Directors Association’s state conference and the Association of Anglican Musicians’ national conference, as well as on concert series in Fort Worth, Highland Park, and Houston. Upcoming performances include appearances at the American Choral Directors Association’s 2025 national conference and a joint performance with the Santa Fe Desert Chorale. Conducted by Artistic Director J.D. Burnett, the choir comprises artists from across North Texas.
